Craig: Proven Experience at Operational and Executive Level in Multinational Companies

Craig is an experienced, professional Manager and has strong general management, engineering, operational, project, process, technical and IT skills. In addition to being a Prince2 qualified Project Management Practitioner, he is studying for an MBA in Business Administration (Technology Management).

Craig’s career has seen him work extensively in the building materials industry where he has managed budgets of over £40 million per annum. He has proven experience at operational and executive level in multinational companies and is successful in his delivery of projects. Some examples of Craig’s career achievements:

  • Working for ATH Plc as Operations Director, took responsibility for ATH regeneration UK sites.
  • Took leadership in a successful tender to supply and operate coal processing plant for two projects in Australia, processing 90,000 tonnes of material per week for a six year period.
  • As Business Improvement Manager at CEMEX UK – an £89 billion turnover business – coordinated the implementation of operational improvement projects resulting in annual operational cost savings of £8 million per annum.
  • Managed and coordinated a review of all UK aggregates using set audit criteria which resulted in a five year improvement programme equalling £10 million savings per annum in year five.
  • Whilst working for Hanson Aggregates UK as Senior Projects Manager, delivered projects including the design, tender and award process. Construction, commissioning and handover of asphalt sites at three sites totalling £12 million.
