John: Responsible for Finance and IT Systems in Fully Integrated ERP Environment

A Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA) and CPA (Australia), John has over twenty years experience gained within varied industries. Among the sectors John has worked in are Manufacturing, Food Processing, Wholesaling, Services and Information Technology. Areas John has experience of include financial and management accounting, budgeting, cash control, costing, cost management, recruitment, credit control and project management. He currently runs his own Business Solutions company and is based in Ireland.

John’s aim is to be the key solutions provider of choice to customers, offering solutions to add value to businesses. He is fully literate in Mamut, Herbst Insight, Microsoft Dynamics and Exchequer. In addition, he has extensive experience of working in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for the finance and IT Systems in a fully integrated ERP environment. His IT/systems experience includes JD Edwards, Computer Associates P-RMS (MRPII system) and Cognos Powerplay (database management solution). Some highlights from John’s career so far include:

• As the Owner of Koncept Business Solutions, assisting businesses with effective software solutions, offering strategies for dealing with the economic downturn and providing tips for improving credit control processes.
• Working as Finance Director with PFH Technology Group, taking responsibility for the Finance & Administration Function, overseeing the merger and integration of CK Business Systems into the Group.
• Successfully migrating the Business Systems of CK Business Systems and PFH into one system within six months of merger.
• Overseeing the integration of the two companies at an operational level whilst managing the Finance function, with responsibility for 10 staff.
