Graham is a senior product development manager and project / programme manager with wide and successful experience of driving technical excellence in the field of new product development. Since 2007 he has been providing interim management and business consultancy services with proven success.

Before becoming an independent practitioner, Graham’s corporate career included a term as Head of Product Development at an established company in the technology sector and a period spent as Director of Engineering at a video systems firm. Some notable career highlights include:

  • As an independent practitioner, took on development process re-engineering for an OEM business producing electromechanical devices, implementing a specification-driven process and developing a portfolio management model.
  • An interim CTO role for a software business for the security industry, developing the portfolio management model to include resource allocation to both long-term strategic engineering and short-term customer-driven engineering.
  • Handled development process re-engineering for an electronics manufacturer, including workshopping to identify process weaknesses.
  • As Specialist Practitioner for The Manufacturing Institute, delivered ‘Lean Products’ to a number of manufacturing companies and carried out one-day diagnostic reviews.
  • As Head of Product Development at Dedicated Microcomputers Ltd, managed a team of 38 design engineers and post development engineers, taking responsibility for an annual budget of £1.6 million
