A very experienced Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Colm D is a chartered accountant who has over 30 years experience working with senior management on process improvement.

He has taught Six Sigma to over 1,000 champions and managers, in the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific and has run Black Belt and champion classes for companies including Ford, Johnson Controls, Lear Corporation, Air Liquide, Invensys, Rexnord, TRW, Visteon, Merrill Lynch, Britannic Assurance, Harley-Davidson and Hexcel. His background encompasses a multitude of industries including electronics, shipbuilding, travel, insurance, food, music, financial services, property, stock broking, and oil.

  • His students' first training projects alone have generated over $90 M in hard savings and $60M in soft savings.
  • He was formerly Lean Six Sigma deployment director for a $1.5 billion multinational.
  • He was a senior assessor for both The European Quality Award & The UK Business Excellence Award in 1992-96 and in 2004 mentored three assessment teams. He also acted as judge for the 2004 Best Six Sigma manufacturing projects in Europe.
