Our clients want capable, successful, experienced, talent who – whether in a permanent or interim role – can immediately make a contribution to their business.

Only one out of every five applicants demonstrates the right mix of career progression, delivery of results and experience to be accepted onto our network. We do not take on interim roles for which the candidate day rate is under £250 or for which the permanent salary is under £50,000. It is thus important that candidates have achieved this level of remuneration in their careers before approaching us to register.

The Executives Online Candidate Experience

Once you've registered and are accepted onto our talent bank, you will begin receiving e-mailed notification of projects in your areas of expertise for which we are seeking candidates. If you see a project that is of interest, please respond quickly. In your response you should include your latest CV and a relevant summary of your experience highlighting and giving more detail of those accomplishments that are directly relevant to the client’s situation. This is your best opportunity to market your skills to us and our clients.

We conduct face-to-face interviews only in the context of an actual assignment. If you are chosen for an interview, you will meet with an Executives Online director to discuss the project.

A number of factors determine whether we are the right interim management recruitment agency for you. Our clients typically look for 15–20+ years of corporate experience in positions of increasing responsibility. For interim positions it is helpful (though not a prerequisite) if a candidate has accomplished at least one interim assignment. The volume of candidate CVs that we receive monthly (nearing 1,000), makes individualised responses impractical. It also means that in some cases, it may be up to four weeks before your CV is reviewed by a director.
